    Hi, i have the same problem. I bought Minecraft Java Edition on 25 December and logged in with a Microsoft account, then tried to play on Hypixel, a Premium Server but saying the same thing as you described.

    I really want Microsoft or Mojang fix this. Hope this helped to know that you are not the single one with this problem.

    Please can you to Xbox Account Settings | Xbox.com 

    Once you have signed into your account, please can you go to Privacy then onto Windows 10 and Xbox One, and make sure you have "Allowed to connect with anyone outside Xbox Live" set to Allowed. 

    Then try again with connecting to Realms.
